Forest Festival

It's the 2018 Mason County Forest Festival.

It starts Thursday.

Save $10 and get free game tickets by getting your pre-sale carnival tickets now. Twenty-five dollars equals one wrist band and five game tickets. They're available now through the close of business the 30th at ProBuild of Shelton on Cedar Street in Shelton, and at The Shopper at 2505 Olympic Highway North.

The Paradise Amusements Carnival is at Gateway Center on Olympic Highway North. It's open from 4:00 to 11:00 on the 31st and 1st, noon to 11:00 on the Saturday the 2nd, and noon to 4:00 on Sunday the 3rd. (Closing time is dependent on attendance and weather.)

Listen to 94.5 Roxy for a chance to win carnival tickets until the carnival opens Thursday.

Saturday, the 74th Mason County Forest Festival also features the Goldsborough Creek Run/Walk/Jog at 6:00 in the morning. The Firefighters' Pancake Breakfast is from 7:00 to 11:00 at Station 58 on Franklin Street. The Family & Pet Parade is at 10:30 followed by the Paul Bunyan Grand Parade at 11:00 on Railroad Avenue. The Stihl Timbersports Western Professional Qualifier logging show is at Loop Field starting at 1:00 in the afternoon. The day is capped off with the Spectacular Fireworks Show at dusk.

Then Sunday has the 28th anniversary edition of the Shelton Car Show-Off on Olympic Highway North supporting the Shelton NJROTC. That afternoon at 2:00, it's the Kristmas Town Kiwanis Duck Race in Goldsborough Creek.
